Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo's Decade-Long Mission to Empower Children Through Representation and STEM Education
I established Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo 10 years ago because of the dearth of powerful girl and brown characters in books, as well as the underrepresentation of women and minorities in STEM fields. The goal was to harness the positive power of storytelling to educate, uplift, and empower girls and underrepresented children, helping them become the healthiest and most empowered versions of themselves. We achieve this by leveraging literacy tools and engaging STEM content to transform knowledge in a manner that enriches and excites, expands understanding, ignites positive thinking, increases representation, and inspires action.
